The National Nuclear Regulator (NNR) invites unemployed South African graduates to apply for the Strategy and Organisational Performance Internship (X1) opportunity based in Centurion, Gauteng.
This internship is part of the NNR’s social responsibility programme, aimed at providing graduates with valuable workplace exposure and skills development in strategic planning, organisational performance, and public administration.
About the NNR
The National Nuclear Regulator is responsible for ensuring the protection of people, property, and the environment against nuclear damage. The organisation plays a vital role in maintaining nuclear safety standards across South Africa through compliance, oversight, and regulation.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Completed NQF Level 6 qualification in:
- Business Administration / Management, or
- Public Administration / Management
- No prior work experience required
- Must not have participated in any previous internship or learnership programme
- South African citizenship essential
Key Responsibilities
As an Intern: Strategy and Organisational Performance, you will:
- Assist in the development of Strategic Plans and Annual Performance Plans (APPs) in line with national frameworks
- Support the creation of Annual Operational Plans (AOPs) for the organisation
- Help with the dissemination of plans and performance reports to relevant stakeholders
- Contribute to the compilation of organisational performance reports and audit documentation
- Maintain and verify performance information and Portfolios of Evidence (POE) for accuracy and compliance

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
