About the Programme (Work Integrated Non-Technical)

The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme provides students and recent graduates with the opportunity to gain hands-on workplace experience while applying their academic knowledge in a real business environment.

This 18-month structured learning programme is designed to build employability, enhance technical and soft skills, and prepare participants for meaningful employment in the logistics, commercial, and ICT sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Operational Support

  • Assist in specific projects within the allocated department.
  • Perform routine operational and administrative tasks under supervision.
  • Support documentation, record-keeping, and reporting activities.

Learning & Development

  • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship opportunities.
  • Shadow experienced professionals to gain practical workplace insights.
  • Engage in problem-solving exercises to develop analytical skills.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Interact with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to understand business needs.
  • Provide regular updates on allocated tasks and project progress.
  • Prepare reports and presentations using MS Office tools.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives.

Compliance & Safety

  • Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
  • Maintain integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all tasks.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric certificate / equivalent
  • N6 in Office Administration or Business Management
  • Must be a South African citizen, aged 18 – 35
  • Must not have a bursary obligation with another company
  • Preference will be given to People with Disabilities
