Job Purpose

To ensure the AVBOB Philippi Life Office remains clean, hygienic, and welcoming for employees and visitors by performing daily cleaning duties and maintaining high standards of office neatness.

Key Responsibilities

As the General Worker, your duties will include:

• Daily Cleaning Tasks: Sweep, mop, and vacuum office floors to maintain a tidy environment.
• Furniture & Decor Care: Dust and polish office furniture and flowers to ensure a pleasant atmosphere.
• Waste Management: Empty and clean waste bins regularly.
• Restroom Maintenance: Wash and sanitize basins, toilets, and sinks; restock toilet paper and soap.
• Kitchen Assistance: Prepare tea and coffee for staff and visitors, wash dishes and dishcloths, refill beverage dispensers, and keep the kitchen area clean.
• Water Supply Management: Refill water in the water cooler as needed.
• Window Cleaning: Wash office windows for a clear, professional appearance.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the office manager or supervisor.

Minimum Requirements for AVBOB General Workers

• Education: Minimum Grade 10 or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior cleaning experience is advantageous.
• Language: Ability to communicate in English will be an advantage.
• Skills: Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a positive work attitude.
