About General Worker job

The Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (LDARD) is recruiting 6 General Workers across multiple districts. These entry-level government jobs are ideal for individuals who are physically fit, committed, and ready to perform manual and general maintenance tasks in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a General Worker, you will:

• Clean and maintain offices, premises, and grounds
• Safeguard and maintain gardening tools and equipment
• Move furniture and remove garbage, boxes, and waste
• Assist with loading, offloading, and receiving stock
• Report damage or loss of equipment
• Perform manual labor and other ad hoc tasks as directed

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for General Worker Job , you must have:

• ABET Level 2 or equivalent qualification (SAQA-recognized)
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
• Ability to operate garden tools and equipment
• Physical ability to perform manual labor
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
